After an epiphany in my early 30s I have decided to start the process of creating my ideal lifestyle.

As part of that process I wanted to start a blog about the process of improving my life. Topics that I will write about will include, the process of setting up a blog; generating income from blogs; personal growth; saving money; health; mini-retirements, as well as anything else that takes my fancy.

Originally from Scotland, currently I live in Japan. I work a full time job as an English teacher in the public school system. Some perks of the job include being able to get plenty of exercise while at work and a reasonable amount of free time to work on my own projects.

My current goal is to work on creating income streams that allow me to break free from the need to have a "job" so I can be available for my son and spend more time having fun.
